Can you work as an LPN or CNA and not have to deal with patients so much?

An LPN might work in a doctor's office, but a CNA doesn't have the training or education to cover the scope of skills/knowledge that working in that capacity involves. However, most physician's offices don't hire LPNs for that either; they hire Medical Assistants, whose very profession was created to work in doc's offices and clinics and the program MAs go through teaches them what they need to know to successfully work in or help manage a medical practice. An RN in a doc's office is usually there just for phone triage (and they hire RNs and LPNs for this job because of experience in routing medical problems, not for technical skills- which are done by the MA).
